These terms govern your access to the CharacterGPT website and app. By using the service, you agree to these terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

1. Entertainment service

CharacterGPT generates synthetic content for entertainment and creative use. Outputs may be inaccurate, incomplete, offensive, or unexpected. They are not professional medical, legal, financial, or mental-health advice and should not be relied on as factual statements.

2. Synthetic personas and public figures

AI characters are simulations. A character inspired by a celebrity or public figure is not the real person and does not imply that person’s participation, approval, or endorsement. Do not use the service to deceive others, impersonate a person, violate publicity or privacy rights, or create unlawful or harmful content.

3. Your account and content

You are responsible for your account activity and for content you submit. Do not submit content you lack the right to use, confidential information you are not authorized to share, malicious code, or content that violates applicable law. Keep your credentials secure.

4. Acceptable use

You may not abuse, disrupt, reverse engineer where prohibited, scrape at unreasonable volume, bypass safeguards, or use the service to facilitate fraud, exploitation, harassment, or other unlawful harm. We may restrict access to protect users, rights holders, and the service.

5. Availability and changes

Features may change or be discontinued, and uninterrupted or error-free operation is not guaranteed. To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided “as is” without implied warranties, and liability is limited to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law.
